London: `Dallas` star Larry Hagman has vowed to keep on working despite battling prostate cancer.
The 80-year-old actor, who is reprising his role as the ruthless oil baron J R Ewing in a revival of the iconic series after a 20-year break, insisted he has no plans to slow down, Daily Express reported. "I feel good. I haven`t started my therapy yet but it`s treatable and curable. I`m going to try to work through the whole thing," he said. Hagman, who had a liver transplant in the mid-1990s, said he had lost 6lb in eight days. "It`s a very common and treatable form of cancer. As we all know, you can`t keep JR down," he added. The actor was diagnosed with cancer earlier this month and is all set to star in a new 10-part series of the show to be aired on Channel 5 next year. PTI
