Resham Sengar
Akshay Kumar was infamous as Bollywood’s Casanova during the entire 90s. His link-up and break-up stories with Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty used to be at the top of the entertainment news charts.
It so happened once, after breaking-up with Akshay for good, Raveena told a magazine how Akshay kept on two-timing her even despite several warnings. He secretly engaged to two other girls while he was still engaged to Raveena. She even went on to say that if Akshay keeps his reckless dating spree on; soon, he would “have to address the parents of three-fourth of girls in Mumbai as ‘Mom and Dad’.”
And the world knows how Akshay repeated the same old story with Shilpa Shetty. After a passionate love affair, Akki chucked Shilpa out of his life to marry her best friend Twinkle Khanna, and it took Shilpa a long time to come out of the emotional trauma of heartbreak.
Now, if you watch the song “Churake Dil Mera Goriya Chali” from the film ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ that featured Akshay and Shilpa, you would notice that the way Akshay is behaving in the song is similar to the way Ranveer Singh acts on and off-screen. Ranveer, much like Akshay was in his hey days, is known as a complete playboy (he has confessed sleeping with a lot of women!), and is high on energy, reckless, boisterous, and of course super hot in the looks department.
Here is the song video “Churake Dil Mera Goriya Chali”:
And now, watch Ranveer Singh’s act in this number:
Can you spot the similarities? Don’t you think the two men are stark similar in their ways? Ranveer is the new age Akshay who has girls going gaga over him – sign of a real stud.
