London: Superstar Johnny Depp and girlfriend Amber Heard are reportedly looking for a house in the UK as the actor shoots his new film ‘Into the Woods’there.
Depp and Heard are reportedly eyeing several palatial pads to temporarily call home as he shoots the Disney musical, reported Sun Online.
The 50-year-old star was looking to rent a home in Surrey previously occupied by fellow A-list stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but the deal fell through.
"He`s keen on the Home Counties (around London) and has his heart set on a ranch," a source said.
Depp is set to star alongside Oscar winner Meryl Streep, `Star Trek` hunk Chris Pine, James Corden and Emily Blunt in the movie, based on a musical Broadway of the same name.
The iconic star recently claimed he is strongly considering retirement from acting for a quieter life.
"At a certain point you start thinking and when you add up the amount of dialogue you say per year and you realise you`ve said written words more than you`ve had a chance to say your own words that becomes an insane option for a human being. Are there quieter things I wouldn`t mind doing? Yes, I wouldn`t mind that. I wouldn`t say I am dropping out any second but I would say it`s not too far away."
