Justin Bieber’s first male to hit 10m Twitter followers

London: Lady Gaga was the first celebrity to reach the 10 million mark two weeks ago, but now teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has become the first male to exceed 10 million Twitter followers.

However, the 17-year-old Canadian singer is still 500,000 behind GaGa, reports a website.

Bieber celebrated by tweeting: "I love u... changing my life everyday. I`m from a town of 30,000... so u guys are 333 times my town! CRAZY! NeverSayNever."

He has beaten US President Barack Obama who is in third place and Britney Spears who is in fifth place, both having more than eight million fans.
