Katy Perry to perform at Melbourne’s Logie Awards

Melbourne: Pop star Katy Perry will open the Logie Awards at Crown, Melbourne, with her hit single, ‘Firework’. She will be officially announced as the bill-topping guest on Monday and she’s also expected to walk the red carpet at TV Week’s awards on May 1.

TV Week publisher Peter was "delighted" that Perry accepted an offer to perform at the awards. "We’re over the moon. She’s certainly one of the hottest international acts and to have her on board on May 1 is a great thing," the Courier Mail quoted Holder as saying. However, hubby Russell Brand is unlikely to accompany her. ANI
