London: Triva game `Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon` makes the actor the kingpin through which all Hollywood stars are linked by a few steps.
The game is based on the fact that the 54-year-old actor`s career on the big and small screens is very wide-ranging, the Sun reported.
The `Finding Your Roots` show host, Henry Louis Gates Jr, told to Bacon that the actor and his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick, who have been wed for 25 years and have two children, are cousins and their families are intimately linked to key moments in US history.
Gates said that Bacon`s family is connected to 13th Century English royalty and told him: "Edward I, King of England, is your 22nd great-grandfather."
He further added that Bacon and President Obama are 12th cousins, three times removed, while the `X-Men: First Class` and Brad Pitt are 13th cousins twice removed.
Gates claimed that Genealogists helped stitch together Bacon`s past using the paper trail the actor`s ancestors left, while geneticists utilised latest advances in DNA analysis to reveal secrets thousands of years old.
