LiLo smelled like alcohol, says man who was hit by her car
Washington: Lindsay Lohan reeked of alcohol and was “slurring her words,” according to the alleged victim of the hit and run case.
The 26-year-old actress was arrested on Wednesday morning in New York City after she reportedly hit cook Jose Rodriguez with her Porsche Cayenne and fled the scene. She was later issued a ticket and released.
“They acted like I was nothing. That no one could touch her because she was rich and powerful,” Fox News quoted Rodriguez, as saying.
According to TMZ.com, a witness, who said she saw the ‘Parent Trap’ star at a Slash concert shortly before the incident, said that Lohan had not been drinking.
Police commissioner Ray Kelly said Lohan did not undergo a breathalyzer test.
Lohan’s publicist Steve Honig later said that the furor over the actress’ Wednesday morning hit-and-run is “much ado about nothing” and the charge against Lohan “will be cleared up in the coming weeks.”
“While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing,” ABC News quoted him as saying in an email.
“We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue,” he wrote.
