Lindsay Lohan ‘enjoyed’ house arrest

London: Troubled star Lindsay Lohan claims she enjoyed her stint under house arrest because it helped her to stay out of the public eye.

The 25-year-old actress, who spent 35 days confined to her California home and was monitored by an ankle bracelet, said the punishment allowed her to have some private time, reported Contactmusic. "I enjoyed it, actually, as I was able to get a lot of work done from home, and it was very nice not to have to worry about cameras being outside," said Lohan. The `Mean Girls` star, who was freed on June 29, has started her court ordered 480 hours of community service at the Los Angeles Downtown Women`s centre. Lohan, who is hoping to continue her acting career, has signed up to appear in `Gotti: Three Generations`, which is due to start filming next year. The actress is also not in a mood to talk about any of her potential love interests. When asked if there is any man in her life, Lohan said, "Not really. Even if there was I wouldn`t tell you! I`m really happy now, and I`ve learned I need to love myself first and foremost," added Lohan. PTI
