Los Angeles: Pop diva Madonna narrowly escaped a second wardrobe malfunction in the space of a year, as a planned stunt where a veil would be pulled off her head nearly went wrong on the latest leg of her Rebel Heart tour in Taiwan.

Fan footage from the concert in Taipei on February 9 night shows the Queen of Pop, 57, struggling to keep her balance as her backing dancers tried to remove the large veil during 'Take a Bow', which was supposed to come off in one smooth, gradual action.

Becoming tangled in the material, she was almost yanked over but maintained her composure, reported E!Online.

Brit Awards almost exactly a year ago, where an Armani-designed cape that was supposed to detach failed to do so, catching on her costume and pulling her backwards down the stage steps during a performance of 'Living For Love'.
