New Delhi: Actress Sandhya Mridul, who was last seen in Nishikanth Kamath`s `Force`, says she looks forward to roles that make her feel responsible as an actor."I look for meat in a part. I want responsibility as an actor," Sandhya, who has recently returned from a holiday in Hong Kong, told IANS.
The 37-year-old actress can`t stop raving about her trip.
"I received a call from Hong Kong Tourism Board and that call immediately got me excited as I was heading to Hong Kong soon.
"The highlight of my trip and my personal favourite place at Hong Kong was the Ngong Ping Village 360, a breathtaking 30-minute-long scenic cable car ride to the tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha in bronze at Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island," Sandhya said.
Films like ‘Company’, have been previously shot in Hong Kong, and the actress says the city welcomes Bollywood with open arms.
"It is a friendly and a warm city and welcomes Bollywood to shoot in their city," Sandhya said.
She is currently busy with her play August Osage county and will soon start shooting for a film next month.
A known name in showbiz, Sandhya has been seen in TV shows like ‘Swabhimaan’, ‘Banegi Apni Baat’ and ‘Koshish’. On the big screen, she has been in supporting roles in movies like ‘Saathiya’ and ‘Page 3’.
Her big moment came when she participated in dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2’ and finished as runner up.
Now she is looking forward to watching the fifth edition of the series, going on air Saturday.
"Definitely looking forward to some good talent in the show and hope they win too! Good ones never win," she said.
