Netanyahu calls off meeting with Bieber over refusal to meet children

Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly cancelled a meeting with Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber.

Washington: Israel’s Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly cancelled a meeting with Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber after the latter refused to meet with children from Negev.
According to Israel’s Channel 2, Bieber, 17, reportedly flinched after the issue of meeting children, from an area that has been threatened by Hamas’ Kassam rockets, was raised.
But his representatives insisted that the meeting was called off because of logistics. “i want to see this country and all the places ive dreamed of and whether it``s the paps (paparazzi) or being pulled into politics its been frustrating (sic),” Fox News quoted the singer as tweeting. It was reported earlier that Netanyahu, 61, was going to meet with Bieber sometime before a concert in Tel Aviv, although a set time for the meeting was never finalized, the New York Times reported.
