Mumbai, Sept 16: The repercussions of the infamous Salman and Shah Rukh Khan spat has already left deep cracks in filmdom, dividing the industry into two major blocks but what continues to baffle us all is what led to this ugly face off, turning one’s best buddies into sworn enemies. And in addition to the umpteen theories doing rounds, here’s yet another reason that might have caused the animosity between the Khans - Katrina Kaif. The blame ball keeps swinging between Sallu’ ex and the present lady-love. Coming as a shock to us all, the grapevine now has it that Salman suspected Shah Rukh Khan of planning to file a complaint against UK born Katrina for not having proper papers to stay and earn a living in the country. Surprising right? According to well placed sources, Salman Khan was informed by a close friend that he had heard SRK stating that a lot of industry people had come from outside, and were residing in the country and making it big without proper papers and no action was taken against them. A news daily even went ahead and quoted Shah Rukh’s close friend as saying, "Shah Rukh was sitting with his close friend Congress MP Rajiv Shukla and discussing Vishal Punjabi`s issue. Shah Rukh had been trying to take the help of all his friends to stop the deportation of Vishal. He was only telling Shukla that there are a lot of people working in the film industry without proper papers and he did not really mean only Katrina. Kamal Khan, a close friend of Salman Khan was sitting with cricketer Azharuddin, who overheard the conversation and probably reported it to Salman Khan.`` What came next is anybody’s guess. Salman known for his hot boiling anger went and confronted Shah Rukh and Shukla about it. And soon things blew out of proportion with Sallu cutting ties from Shah Rukh forever. Well, there you have it, yet another theory behind the infamous Khan row. It’s time that the actors come out and clear the air once and for all or else the ever so curious gossip mills will go on churning juicy fodder.
