Party glass attack an accident, says Meera Syal’s daughter

London: Meera Syal’s teenage daughter sobbed in the court and claimed that the alleged glass attack on her friend’s ex boyfriend, was an accident.

Chameli Bhatia, 19, said that Christian Pannell did not pay any heed to her when she apologized to him and his friends were aggressive and threatening. “One of them was saying I was going to “****ing get it,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying. “None of them was listening when I was trying to apologise.” She even asserted that a facebook campaign was started against her and students boycotted her in school. “A Facebook campaign was started against me and I received a lot of threats from people I didn’t even know at school.” “Because it was quite an intimidating group of boys, no one really wanted to stick up for me.” “When I got back to school I was so isolated,” she added. Bhatia, known as ``Millie,`` allegedly held a grudge against 18-year-old Pannell after he ended a relationship with her friend two weeks previously. ANI
