New Delhi: ‘Beliebers’ across the world can now relax a little. A plot to murder pop sensation and Canadian teen icon Justin Bieber was foiled by the police departments in Vermont and New York. The young star who has yet again failed to reach the Grammy nominations has been the subject of much love and as much hate from people across the world. And Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, told ‘Us Weekly’: “We take every precaution to protect and ensure the safety of Justin and his fans.” The plot, meanwhile, is reported to have been to strangle and then castrate the Canadian sensation, and two men have been held in connection with the plot. Mark Staake and his nephew, Tanner Ruane, who are both wanted in Albuquerque on charges of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, were detained by state police in connection with the conspiracy. According to KRQE, the attempted crime came to the police’s attention when Dana Martin, who`s serving a double life sentences for raping and the killing a young girl, told detectives that he had approached Staake, who in turn recruited Ruane, to strangle Justin Bieber and his bodyguard with “a paisley tie” before castrating the young singer. Investigations are still underway at the New Mexico State Police Department.
