Priyanka delaying `Barfee` co-star Ileana’s debut?

Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra might be busy working on her debut music album in the US but her absence has provoked gossip mongers to discuss her relentlessly. The actress, who was shooting with Ranbir Kapoor for Anurag Basu’s `Barfee`, reportedly left for the US thereby leaving the shoot schedule incomplete. This has apparently forced a delayed release of the film. Priyanka will be sharing screen space with Ileana D’Cruz, an actress from down south. The pretty lass plays the third leading character in the film and will have to wait longer for her Bollywood debut. Talking to a daily, a trade analyst said, “Anurag has one schedule still left to shoot in Hong Kong, apart from some other talkie portions. With Priyanka being in LA for a month, it has taken a toll on the schedule and some date adjustments have been made. The film will now release in mid 2012." However, UTV’s head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur slammed the news calling it a mere rumour. He said, “I don`t know where these stories are coming from. PC has been very open with us about her professional commitments, be it her album or her movies. She hasn`t delayed our film.”
