Mumbai: Controversy’s favourite child- Ram Gopal Varma- is back in news for all the wrong reasons. The filmmaker, who recently made headlines for hurting the sentiments of Lord Ganesha’s devotees by insulting the God, has now stirred a new controversy.

The teaser poster of his new regional film ‘Savitri’ shows a little boy ogling at a woman’s navel.

The press note of the film reportedly reads: “Who is your Savitri? Please share the experiences of such Savitris, so we would incorporate them in this movie. So, Get Lucky with Savitri’.”

The poster has drawn severe criticism from the moral police and on social media. The filmmaker reportedly wanted people to share their experiences of their first crush so as to draw inspiration for the film.

The State Child Rights Protection Commission has termed the poster as “vulgar” and firmly believes that it is violation of child rights, reports suggest.
