Renee Zellweger drops out of Globes to comfort Bradley Cooper

Renee bowed out of a presenter`s role at the Golden Globes ceremony so that she could comfort Bradley, who was mourning the death of his father.

Los Angeles: `Bridget Jones` star Renee Zellweger bowed out of a presenter`s role at the Golden Globes ceremony so that she could comfort boyfriend Bradley Cooper, who was mourning the death of his father.
The actress was supposed to be one of the presenters at the Sunday gala, but cancelled in order to be with Cooper whose 71-year-old father died on January 15, reported People magazine.
Bradley and his father were known to be close, and the actor even secured a cameo role for the senior Cooper in 2010`s film `The A-Team`. After receiving the news that Bradley`s father had passed away Zellweger pulled out of the Golden Globes to be at his side. The 41-year-old actress and `The Hangover` actor have been dating since 2009 after meeting met on the set of the thriller `Case 39`. PTI
