London: ‘Pink Floyd’ bass player Roger Waters has revealed that growing up in an all-female household, with his mother and sisters, was the reason for his failed marriages.
“I just believed the correct thing was for the woman to have all the power,” the Daily Express quoted Waters as telling ‘Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs’. “I think it took me a long time to understand that as a man it was OK to have power,” he added. Waters, 67, who is engaged to Laurie Durning, was married to childhood sweetheart Judy Trim from 1969 to 1975, Carolyn Christie from 1976 to 1992 and Priscilla Phillips from 1993 to 2001. ANI
