Rowan Atkinson can’t wait to drive his McLaren F1 vehicle post crash

London: Funny man Rowan Atkinson is reportedly gearing up to drive his sports car once again after refusing to let his terrifying road crash take over his passion of driving fast cars.
The 56-year-old actor has revealed that he can’t wait for his sports car to be repaired so that he can get back behind the wheel. The ‘Blackadder’ star had fractured his shoulder in August this year after his McLaren F1 vehicle went out of control and smashed into a tree as he drove through Cambridgeshire. “It was a misjudgement and it was not a situation that one would wish to recreate in the future, but I’m fine... I think the car’s going to take a bit longer to mend than me but it will be mended, it will be back on the road again at some point,” The Daily Express quoted him as telling BBC Newsbeat. “I’ll certainly be driving the car again, it hasn’t put me off the car but you’ve got to learn your and your vehicle’s limitations, so I think it’s definitely a lesson learnt and I would hope to not be in the same situation (again),” he added.
