New Delhi: Salman Khan is in the eye of another controversy. At the launch of Kapil Sibal`s new album, `Raunaq`, Salman Khan reportedly insulted musical maestro AR Rahman. Rahman, has worked for the album in collaboration with the Union Minister. Salman had delayed the event by reaching late already and reports from a leading daily quoted him saying that “ Aap sabhi ko maloom hai Rahman bade average hain; what is common between us is `Jai Ho`” (You all know that Rehman is quite average...). It must have been quite shocking to the Oscar winning composer. Although he did as the Academy winner as to when they would collaborate. Reports also said that Rahman, who was smiling at the podium before, turned sullen after the unprovoked comment. On being asked when Salman and Rahman would come together the composer said, “We did work together on ‘Yuvvraj’. He has to do films that I like. There has to be an extraordinary film for us to come together.” About the album Salman added, “It is a great pleasure to be here for this launch. The songs are nice. I think Kapil sir is amazing...” `Raunaq` has been penned by Sibal, has been rendered by the who`s who of Bollywood`s playback singing, Lata Mangeshkar and Shreya Ghoshal to name a few.
