Mumbai: Salman Khan’s followers will certainly take pride in being his fan, for he is someone who is very much unlike a superstar- too casual, flamboyant and street-smart. As we all know, Salman has helped many of his colleagues resurrect their careers and the list includes music directors Sajid-Wajid and Himesh Reshammiya. And one new entrant in the list is actor-singer Vikas Bhalla. Bhalla had tried his hands at acting and had also cut music albums but couldn`t make a mark in the industry. He then moved to the small screen to build a career. But now, with ‘Son of Sardaar’s’ ‘Po-po’ song, he seems to have made it back to Bollywood albeit as a playback singer. Talking to a daily, Bhalla said, “All the credit goes to Salman. He heard the song, and next thing I know; he calls up Himesh Reshammiya and tells him I’d be his voice!”
