London: Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock is reportedly moving to New Orleans to start a new life with her adopted son Louis Bardo after splitting with husband Jesse James over his alleged affairs. The 45-year-old actress is leaving her home in Louisiana alongwith Louis whom she adopted in January this year, reported Contactmusic.
Three removal trucks were spotted outside her home only a day after she announced she was divorcing 41-year-old James. The vans from El Sol Logistics, a moving company based in Austin, Texas, were yesterday seen loading furniture, including sofas, chairs and paintings from Sandra`s USD 2.25 million mansion on Coliseum Street. The `Blind Side` star - who is legally separating from James following a number of alleged infidelities – is reportedly putting the finishing touches to her new home which is located in the hometown of her newly adopted baby. Speaking about the divorce from James, Bullock said, "Yes, I have filed for divorce... I`m sad, and I`m scared." The actress is also keen that her son should have his roots in New Orleans. "Without the spirit of the people who live there and take care of the city and honour its traditions, its love for music, its love for life, take those people out and you don`t have why I love New Orleans so much," said Bullock.
