Shah Rukh Khan all set for musical Marathi debut

Zee Media Bureau New Delhi: After having proved his mettle in the field of acting, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a musical Marathi debut. According to a daily, music composer and singer Shekhar Ravjiani has roped in Shah Rukh for his Marathi single ‘Saanvli’, which features Sunidhi Chauhan. The song is reportedly about first love and the versatile actor has already shot the video. “Shah Rukh Khan is synonymous with romance. Shekhar met him at a studio and played out the single for him. He connected with the song instantly and agreed to feature in the video,” a source said. Another source revealed, “The revenue from this song will go to an NGO, which is another reason why SRK agreed to be a part of the project. The video will feature him reciting the verse. It was rather nice of him to make himself available to shoot the video despite his busy schedule.” Shekhar also confirmed the news saying, “His thoughtfulness and love has made this video very special to me.” The music video has been directed by Ravi Jadhav and the lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
