Shilpa Shetty turns 38!

New Delhi: She began her Bollywood career with a blockbuster film ‘Baazigar’ and sizzled the silver screen with her unconventional looks. The girl basically from down south scorched the big screen with her oomph and her slim frame! Actress-turned-business woman Shilpa Shetty turns 38 today! However, Shetty is currently under the scanner over her alleged involvement in the Indian Premier League season 6’s match-fixing scandal along with her husband Raj Kundra. The two own IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals. Reality TV show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ gave Shilpa’s career a new lease of life after her film career took a plunge. She apparently fell victim to racist remarks passed by her white co-inmates while on the show. But the lady went on to win the show, thereby making it to the headlines even in international media. Shilpa has given hits like ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Rishtey’, ‘Life in a Metro’ etc. She was also applauded for her performance in ‘Phir Milenge’, which deals with a sensitive story of an HIV infected person. The leggy lass, who tied the knot with a UK based business tycoon Raj Kundra, is a proud mother to one- year-old son –Viaan. Shetty also forayed into TV as a judge in ‘Nach Baliye 5’ and ‘Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati’ and also hosted the second season of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. We, wish Shilpa a very Happy Birthday!
