New Delhi: This is something which no one on the planet could have predicted. You have seen him handling corporate affairs, partying hard with girlfriends and attending all those glamour events. But now, he has added a few more real life roles in his kitty, perhaps on his own discretion.
The heir of the UB Group, Sidhartha Mallya has revealed to the world that he is a certified ordained priest of the Universal Life Church. All of which simply means that he is now good enough by law to perform all the functions of the clergymen.
The formal announcement from Mallya Jr. came via his twitter updates which precisely read, “My certificate confirming that I’ve been ordained…Can now legally call myself the Rev. Mallya!!”
He also tweeted a short list of his new rights and duties, “Apparently I can perform weddings, funerals, baptisms, blessings, & preach, teach and hold meetings... Joey did it in ‘Friends’!!!”
We wonder what made Sid take this unconventional step. Call of the conscience, we guess?
