Single mother Stacey Solomon is ‘Celebrity Mum of the Year 2011’

London: Stacey Solomon was the ‘Queen of the Jungle’ in 2010 and now she has been crowned the ‘Celebrity Mum of the Year 2011’.

She beat off stiff competition from British Prime Minister’s wife Samantha Cameron, TV presenter Myleene Klass, who gave birth to her second child a few days ago, and Holly Willougby, reports the Daily Mail. The 21-year-old single mother collected her award at the Chancery Court Hotel here on Wednesday. “I``m chuffed to bits that people voted for me!,” said a thrilled Solomon. She juggles a busy working life with being mum to her toddler son Zachary, who turned three last week. Foxy Bingo, the official sponsor of the annual award this year, said it gave Solomon the accolade for ‘juggling the stresses of work with being an amazing mum to her young son Zachary’. After she was given the gong, she took to her Twitter page and wrote: “Thank you so much everyone who voted my celeb mum of the year that``s such a privilege! I``m so happy and grateful love my Zachary so much! X” ANI
