Washington: Sir Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were pictured arriving at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue in St. Johns Wood, London on the eve before their wedding.
Members of Shevell’s family joined the 69-year-old former Beatles member and the 51-year-old American heiress as they attended the breaking of the fast service at 5 p.m.
According to Us Weekly, they left the service two hours later and eluded the question of their rumoured marriage on being asked by a photographer who asked them “Are you looking forward for tomorrow?”
“Good question. Thank you and good night,” People magazine quoted McCartney as saying.
The rumoured wedding will be McCartney’s third, whose first wife, Linda, died of cancer and his second marriage to Heather Mills lasted just six years, whereas it will be Shevell’s second.
