Snooki’s driving license suspended after minor accident in Italy

New York: It has emerged that The ‘Jersey Shore’ star Snooki is likely to have her driver’s licence suspended for a minimum of 15 days after crashing into a police car at Florence in Italy.

“The Italian law states that if a person is injured in an accident, then the other person deemed to have caused the accident loses their license,” the New York Daily News quoted Mario Rondinelli, a police spokesman as telling the Daily Mail.

“It will be for a minimum of 15 days although the Florence police chief has the ultimate decision on the length of time, and he will look at the file over the next few days,” Rondinelli added.

Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, was taken into custody after striking the back of the police vehicle, which was intended to escort her through the city, sending two officers to hospital.

Even though the reality TV star was not formally arrested, she would face the consequences of the accident.
