New Delhi: Sooraj Pancholi, the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, has admitted to being in a live-in relationship with deceased actress Jiah Khan. In what might act as a major push in the Jiah Khan suicide case, the 22 year old aspiring actor, Sooraj, has told the police that he and Jiah were living together.
In addition to Jiah Khan’s six-page long suicide note found from the actress’ apartment after her death, five other letters written by her have also been discovered from Sooraj Pancholi’s residence.
Sooraj Pancholi had been arrested on the night of June 10 under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (Abetment to suicide). Jiah Khan’s six-page long suicide note revealed how the actress was in an abusive relationship with Sooraj and that she had had an abortion too.
According to the Mumbai police, the handwriting of the letters that have been found from Sooraj Pancholi’s residence matches with the one found from Khan’s place. The actress, who shot to fame with her debut in the 2007 film ‘Nishabd’, killed herself at her Juhu apartment on the night of June 3.
