New York: Reality stars/couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag faked their recent split in order to remain in the spotlight, sources say.
Also, Montag`s sister Holly revealed on Twitter that the two were lying.
"If anyone has come to expect anything from those 2 is that THEY r the LIARS," the New York Daily News quoted her, as writing.
Pratt and Montag apparently plan to cash in on the attention they have gained.
"Heidi and Spencer are laughing over it and having a blast," the New York Daily News quoted an insider as telling US magazine.
Another insider added: "This breakup is the latest part of Spencer`s master plan."
