SRK, Ranbir to host 57th Filmfare Awards 2011

Zeenews Bureau Mumbai: Let’s face it. There isn’t much fun to guess who will take home the awards. Hosting duties is where all the excitement lies. So, in order to make it more edgy, this year the Filmfare Awards, India most prestigious film awards event, have opted for Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor to host the show. The prominent award show began in 1954. The Filmfare Awards got widely noticed for its sheer star presence and long-standing association with Hindi cinema. The hosts of Filmfare Awards are often witty with an amazing sense of humour and who take healthy digs at their contemporaries and nominees thus keeping everyone glued to their seats. Filmfare will happen on 29th of January at the Film City this year for which Shah Rukh and Ranbir have been zeroed in as hosts. A source talking to a daily said, “Yes Ranbir and Shah Rukh will be hosting Filmfare this year. The script etc hasn`t been finalized as yet.” Given SRK and Ranbir’s gift of gab, Filmfare awards 2011, we expect would be an absolute rocker of a show! What say?
