Delhi: Canadian adult star Sunny Leone, who was to perform a ‘wild cage dance’ at a night club in Dubai, will not be able to do so now – thanks to the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing there. Leone’s act was supposed to be the part of a promotional event for ‘Shootout At Wadala’, in which the porn star turned actress has an item number. Sunny’s exclusive performance – the aforementioned wild cage dance – didn’t go down well with the authorities in Dubai and not willing to risk Leone’s “risqué” act, the latter decided to cancel it at the last minute. While the night club where Leone’s performance was to take place refunded disheartened ticket-buyers the amount that they’d paid for the same, the actress was seen at various promotional events in Dubai. Sunny’s introduction to mainstream Bollywood cinema happened when Pooja Bhatt cast the actress in the film ‘Jism 2’, and thereafter, the porn star has been signed on to appear in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Ragini MMS 2’. In ‘Shootout At Wadala’, Sunny is seen grooving to the tunes of ‘Laila’ – an item number – along with John Abraham and Tusshar Kapoor. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Manoj Bajpayee and Kangana Ranaut, apart from John and Tusshar, in pivotal roles, and hits theatres May 3, 2013.
