Sylvester Stallone emotionally reunited with dying dad, says mum

London: Sylvester Stallone reportedly put aside all the bitterness to reunite with his father days before he died of cancer at the age of 91.

Stallone’s mother Jackie, 89, revealed that the 65-year-old actor wept by the deathbed of Frank Stallone at his home in Florida. “It turned out to be the last time they saw each other and it was beautiful. I cry, more with joy than sadness, when I look at them,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying. Jackie, who divorced Frank when Stallone was 11 years old, said her ex-husband died on 11July 2011 ‘knowing his son loved him’. “Sly treated everyone to an Italian meal they ordered in. That’s just what Frank wanted. When a person is dying all you should remember are the good things about him,” she added. ANI
