TV actor Sara Khan's vehicle overturns, no casualties

TV actress Sara Khan and five others were involved in a car accident when the group was returning from a birthday party.

Mumbai: TV actress Sara Khan and five others were involved in a car accident late Friday night when the group was returning from a birthday party. The accident happened near the Oshiwara Area in Mumbai around 3 a.m. According to reports, it is a suspected case of drunken driving. The Mumbai Police are now investigating the possibility of rash and negligent driving under the influence of alcohol. The car overturned, once it hit the road divider, while it was at high speed. However, there are no reports of any life threatening injuries to either the actors in the car or to any bystanders on the road. Investigation is on to confirm the reports. Sara Khan has acted in several TV shows and also won the Best Debut Female category award in the Zee Gold Awards in 2008 for ‘Sapna Babul Ka...Bidai’. The actress had recently thrown a party at a Mumbai pub to celebrate her 24th birthday. Sara Khan married Ali Merchant in 2010, but later got divorced. She is now dating another TV actor Paras Chhabra.
