Warren Beatty hints at directorial comeback
London: Six years after he retired from Hollywood, writer-director-producer-actor Warren Beatty has hinted he is preparing to make another movie.
The 74-year-old stepped out of the spotlight in 2005 after a successful career spanning nearly 50 years.
He was interviewed by fellow actor Alec Baldwin at the weekend (30-01May11) as part of the TCM (Turner Classic Movies) Film Festival in Los Angeles, and teased fans by suggesting he needs to make a new film to support his four kids with wife Annette Bening, reports a website.
Beatty said, "I have four kids - 11, 14, 16 and 19 - that I think of as small Middle Eastern countries with whom I have to negotiate.
“Each one of them is more interesting than five movies. But I`m gonna make another movie. In fact, I`ll make several. It would be better for them,” he added.
