New Delhi: The year 2013 proved to be lucky for Deepika Padukone, all thanks to the back to back hits - `Chennai Express`, `Ramleela`, and `Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani`. Being touted as the most bankable actress of the current time, the 28-year-old leggy lass seems to be under more pressure to meet her fans` expectations.
According to a daily, the former Kingfisher model`s health has gone for a toss, due to the over exertion on her part to meet her professional commitments. It was the result of her recent hectic weekend, when she almost collapsed due to working for 30 hours at a stretch.
“Last week, Deepika worked for 30 hours straight. After shooting for Farah’s film for 16 odd hours, she rushed to a dance performance she had at an award function,” a source said.
After completing the shoot Padukone also made sure to attend the performance rehearsal before the event.
“She was working till late on Friday (February 14) when she almost fainted. After resting for a bit, when she woke up, she had a high fever and was feeling extremely weak,” the source added.
However, the starlet is reportedly letting herself loose after the health hazard and has rearranged her work schedule, following her doctor`s advice of complete bed rest for few days.
Well, we wish Deepika to get well soon.
