They may have buried the hatchet and moved on to being best of friends, but things may not be all that well between former lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Mumbai: They may have buried the hatchet and moved on to being best of friends, but things may not be all that well between former lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The actors, who are going to appear together in Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ soon, might have been sharing a cordial relation post their break up, but Salman still seems to be a bit bitter about it. The actor, who is known for his sarcasm, has made snide comments about Katrina on more than one occasion. Some have been taken in the right spirit but some have definitely left Kat in tears.
What is even more alarming is the fact that all these comments have been made in front of the media, at public events and even on national television. Here are samples of a few: At the recent press conference of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Katrina was asked if she liked the tag of an ‘item girl’ that is attached to her image. Before Kat could reply, Sallu quipped, “Karan Johar is her best friend. So she did the song. And it wasn’t Hrithik’s hardwork or Sanjay Dutt’s charm that won the film (Agneepath) accolades...it was all because of Katrina.” Salman also sarcastically said that how Kat had done a huge favour to him by performing an item number in ‘Bodyguard’. “Yeh toh inka baddappan hai, itna bada dil hai inka that she agreed. Who does it these days?” said Salman. Back in 2010, Salman had Katrina as guest celebrity on his show ‘Bigg Boss’. This was the time that the two had again started talking post the latter’s break-up with Ranbir. Salman introduced Katrina as ‘bhayankar’ and also asked her to rate Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan and him as her favourite co-star. A visibly flushed Katrina maintained her poise while the camera was on but later went backstage and howled her eyes off. Salman has always made fun of Katrina’s Hindi speaking skills and has publicly taken potshots at her inability to speak or understand the language. A tabloid reports that at an awards function, Salman asked Katrina, “Aaj kal kiske saath hai?” While Kat fumed with anger on being asked such a question in front of everyone, Salman asked the same question to a security guard present there. So all is not well between the two? Or has Katrina gotten used to be the subject of Salman’s sarcasm?
