Yesteryears actress Sadhna summoned by Mumbai court

Mumbai: Legendary actress Sadhna has been summoned by Bandra metropolitan magistrate on charges of false complaint against a realtor. According to sources, the actress got into a dispute with the real estate developer Yusuf Lakdawala, who allegedly had been trying to pressure her to vacate the Santa Cruz house she has lived in for the past 50 years. Sadhna even accused Lakdawala of threatening her with death. Following the skirmish, the actress lodged a complaint against the realtor with the Santa Cruz police following which Lakdawala was arrested in November, but soon let off on bail. Soon after his release, the builder had approached the Bandra metropolitan magistrate claiming he has been falsely implicated and defamed by Sadhana. “A private complaint was filed by Lakdawala and the Magistrate has sought for the police to probe into the allegations made by Lakdawala and have directed the police to submit a report,” said Lakdawala’s lawyer Vibhav Krishna.
