Mark Wahlberg to star in movie version of `Uncharted`

London: Hollywood heartthrob Mark Wahlberg is set to star in the movie adaptation of the hit computer game `Uncharted`.

The actor has confirmed that he will be working in the film, whose script is being written by `Gone with the Wind` producer David O, reported Contactmusic. The former rapper also said that Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci are in line for roles in the film. "That`s who he wants to write the parts for. I talked to Pesci about it and I know David`s people have talked to Robert De Niro" said the Academy Award winning actor. The 39-year-old disclosed that the movie will not be a "watered down" version of the game. "I`m obviously in for whatever David wants to do, but the idea of it is so off the charts; De Niro being my father, Pesci being my uncle. It`s not going to be the watered-down version, that`s for sure" he added. PTI
