New Delhi: 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar has a huge fan following among the masses. People love him for his effortless acting style. The actor's comic timing is another reason why the youth connects with him so well. However, despite that when the makers announced the third installment of their famous 'Hera Pheri' franchise—there was no mention of actor Akshay Kumar.
Surprisingly, both Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty have been retained from the original cast, while Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham are new joinees for 'Hera Pheri 3'. Reports now suggest that it was Akki's high price quote which made the makers look for new faces.
According to reports, Akshay demanded a whopping RS 50 crore for the film. The producer was apparently left with no choice but to opt for someone else. 'Hera Pheri' starred Tabu, Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar along with Paresh Rawal. The second part titled ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ was directed by Neeraj Vora, who will helm the third installment as well.
