Watch: Priyanka Chopra plays out Mary Kom`s journey in `Ziddi Dil`

New Delhi: After the theatrical trailer created a buzz on the virtual world, the first song of Priyanka Chopra`s upcoming sports biopic `Mary Kom` was released today. The song titled `Ziddi Dil` is composed by Shashi Suman and sung by Vishal Dadlani. The lyrics of the track have been penned by Prashant Ingole. The almost two-and-a-half-minute long video shows the entire journey of Mary Kom from a being a small town girl to a world champion. The lyrics of the song very convincingly justify its title `Ziddi Dil` and inspire everyone to face the hardships of life and fight back. The song primarily talks about the Olympic medalist`s struggle and her never-give-up attitude. Co-produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions, and directed by Omung Kumar, the inspirational biopic is due to release on September 5. The biographical sports drama also stars Danny Denzongpa, Minakkshi Kalitaa and Shishir Sharma in prominent roles. Watch the song here:
