New York: Rihanna’s show in Dallas was on fire, not by the charismatic presence of the star, but by a small flame that broke out above the stage of the American Airlines Center, forcing the singer to put an abrupt end to her performance.
“DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH TONIGHT!!! LITERALLY,” the New York Daily News quoted Rihanna as tweeting. “I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!” she said. The ‘R and B’ singer also tweeted that though she was not sure what ignited the fire, she was ‘glad’ that all her fans were ‘safe’. She even went on to promising that she would soon be back to the venue again. In a YouTube video the sparking fire was clearly visible. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that the flames started after the 23-year-old singer had gone to change her costume after finishing the song ‘California King Bed,’ which included a small pyrotechnics display. According to the authorities, no casualties were reported. ANI
