Alba stops fan undergoing `look-alike surgery`

London: Hollywood star Jessica Alba has stopped a Chinese girl from undergoing cosmetic surgery to make herself look more like the actress. A 21-year-old girl, known only as Xiaoqing, was willing to transform her looks in a desperate bid to win back her former boyfriend, whose favourite actress is Alba.

After surgeons in Shanghai offered to perform a cosmetic overhaul for free, the `Sin City` star reached out to the girl and pleaded with her not to change her appearance, reported Contactmusic. "I think you should never have to change yourself like that. If somebody loves you, they`ll love you no matter what," said Alba. The 29-year-old actress` appeal has worked – Xiaoqing has decided against surgery, and has thanked Alba star for making her change her mind. "I think it`s great that Jessica is so concerned about me. Her words also played an important role in my decision," she said. PTI
