London: Victoria Beckham has quashed reports that she is set to give birth to her first daughter this week.
Following reports that the former Spice Girl was due to have a Caesarian section on July 4, a representative for the Beckhams has stated that the rumours are not true, reported Daily Mail. Speculation on Twitter had even claimed that Victoria had given birth to a baby girl named `Felicity`. "The rumours are rubbish, Victoria has not had the baby but she will be giving birth soon," said the spokesperson. David`s publicist Simon Oliveria also took to Twitter on Monday to deny the reports, telling followers, "Contrary to certain reports, David and Victoria Beckham`s baby is not due today and that was never the case". A representative later revealed that Victoria is due to give birth next week instead. Speaking at the launch of the new Los Angeles Galaxy football strip, David spoke enthusiastically about the prospect of raising his first daughter. "It`s a whole new different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house, and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room`s ready. We`re really excited". Victoria Beckham and husband David are already parents to three boys, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo. PTI
