New Delhi: The surface of Keansburg marina in New Jersy is covered with millions of dead peanut bunker fish.

The suspected reason of this massive fish killing is the low level of oxygen in the stagnant water of marine, according to the officials of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).

They said that small peanut bunker fish were fleeing from large predators and ended up in the polluted stagnant water causing mass death of fish in New Jersey.

The highest concentration of fish killing is reported in Waackaack Creek. Local government entities is working hard to clean the area as the horrible smell of rotting fish is disturbing the life of nearby residents.
