AHMEDABAD: The Congress on Monday released the second list of 13 candidates for the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections, taking the total number of candidates to 90.

Congress's first list saw senior leaders like Shaktisinh Gohil and Arjun Modhwadia getting tickets.
Earlier in the day, the party declared a list of star campaigners for the upcoming Assembly polls.
Forty top leaders of the party have been designated to campaign in the state.
Congress is locked in a bitter contest with the BJP, which has been in power in the state since 1995.
On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has already announced 134-candidates, which includes incumbent Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
Gujarat goes to polls in December, where the first phase for 89 seats will be held on the 9th and for the remaining 93 seats it will be held on the 14th.
The results will be announced along with that of Himachal Pradesh on December 18.
