Resta, Sutil do well in practice sessions

Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil warmed up for Sunday`s Hungarian Grand Prix with a top-10 finish in the second free practice session.

Budapest: Force India drivers -- Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil -- warmed up for Sunday`s Hungarian Grand Prix with a top-10 finish in the second free practice session.
Resta finished ninth with the fastest lap time of 1:22.835, just ahead of Sutil, who clocked 1:22.981. Resta had managed 12th place in the first session when he clocked 1:25.336s for his fastest lap. Nico Hulkenbeg (1:25.357) was behind him. McLaren`s Lewis Hamilton was fastest in both the sessions. He clocked 1:23.350 in the first practice and then improved the timing in the second (1:21.018). Hamilton was followed by Ferrari`s Fernando Alonso (1:23.350), who was third in first session, and McLaren`s Jenson Button (1:21.322), who had managed a fifth place finish in the opening session. Sutil was a satisfied man as he tested some Aero itmes in his session."I was struggling for grip a bit today, especially at the start of the session and I was having to fight the car. But I think most of that was due to the fact that the track was quite green today.” "We know it always gets better with each session so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. In the afternoon the longs runs went well and gave us plenty of information on the soft and supersofts for the race," he said. Rest was happy to measure the track without any hindrance. "It was good to get 40 laps in during the second session and it helped get me up to speed with the track, which is still quite new for me. The circuit was very green to begin with and tyre wear was high, but it was still consistent and improved quite a bit by the end of the day," he said. PTI
