Woods shares halfway lead with Wilson at Cog Hill

Tiger Woods carded a four-under-par 67 to share the lead with fellow American Mark Wilson after the second round at the BMW Championship on Friday.

Lemont (Illinois): Tiger Woods carded a four-under-par 67 to share the lead with fellow American Mark Wilson after the second round at the BMW Championship on Friday.
Woods bogeyed the first hole but that was his only blemish as he fought back with four birdies in five holes in mid-round, and picked up another at the par-four 17th to post a seven-under 135 halfway total at Cog Hill, where he has won four times. Wilson carded a five-under 66 to join Woods, one stroke ahead of Irishman Padraig Harrington, South African Rory Sabbatini, Australian Marc Leishman and American Bo Van Pelt. Harrington dropped a stroke at the last but it could have been worse because he carved his tee shot out-of-bounds and was forced to reload, making birdie with his second ball. Sabbatini, who shared the first-round lead with American Steve Marino, had a three-shot advantage when he turned at eight-under but dropped two shots on his inward nine. Bureau Report
