4 terrorists gunned down in encounter with security forces in J&K's Anantnag
The encounter comes barely days after the central government decided to resume anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir following a one-month ceasefire during Ramzan.

SRINAGAR: Four terrorists on Friday were gunned down in an encounter with the security forces at Srigufwara area in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag. One more terrorist is believed to be trapped in the area. A civilian and a police personnel died in the encounter while two jawans suffered injuries.
"An encounter started in early hours of the morning. There was information about the presence of three to four terrorists. Three bodies (of terrorists) are being retrieved. One policeman is reportedly martyred and two civilians are injuries," said J&K DGP SP Vaid.
Vaid took to Twitter and said that the terrorists are reportedly affiliated to Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK).
On Thursday, a team of National Security Guards (NSG) reached Srinagar to deal with terror-related incidents, ahead of the Amarnath Yatra. As per Zee Media sources, the NSG commandos would be deputed across the state capital.
The encounter comes barely days after the central government decided to resume anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir following a one-month ceasefire during Ramzan.
Several encounters have been conducted by armed forces since the resumption of the operations and many terrorists have been killed.
