Two terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara

Terrorists on Monday attacked a police party in Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara area.

Srinagar: Two terrorists were killed by security forces after they opened fire at a police check post in the Handwara area.

The gunfight broke out after terrorists attacked a police check post at Sultanpora in the Zachaldara area of Handwara area of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir.

The identity and group affiliation of the slain terrorists is being ascertained, a police official said.

The attack comes two days after terrorists on Friday targeted a police vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway at Qazigund.

No one was injured in the attack.
